Tuesday Evening Remedial Massage Therapy
No time during the day to organise a massage?
Book a 1/2 hour Massage on Tuesday Evenings between 5:00pm - 8:00pm
This therapy uses a range of specialised techniques to identify and treat areas of damage, while supporting and accelerating the body’s natural healing processes. The massage is applied directly to the skin using a lubricating medium—typically oil—to allow for deep penetration of the affected muscles and effective joint mobilisation. Passive stretching techniques may also be incorporated to further enhance flexibility, release tension, and aid recovery.
Benefits of Remedial Massage
Remedial Massage offers a wide range of therapeutic benefits. It stimulates blood flow, helping to flush out toxins from the muscles, while calming the peripheral nervous system to reduce pain and discomfort. This treatment also tones and relaxes muscles, improving flexibility and joint mobility. It promotes cellular health, supports tissue repair, and helps ease stiffness and tension—providing both physical relief and mental relaxation.
Common muscular and skeletal conditions treated with Remedial Massage include:
-
Fibrositis
-
Spondylitis
-
Arthritis
-
Frozen shoulder
-
Muscle cramps
-
Whiplash
-
Muscular atrophy
-
Sports and dance-related injuries
Treatment sessions typically last between 30 minutes to one hour, depending on whether a targeted area or a full-body massage is needed. As oil is applied during the treatment, clients are usually asked to be partially unclothed, with towels provided for privacy and comfort.

What is Remedial Massage?
Remedial Massage Therapy
When muscles become tense, knotted, or damaged, remedial massage offers an effective treatment that can be tailored to your needs—whether gentle or firm, deep or superficial. This therapy takes a holistic approach to healing the body, aiming not just to relieve symptoms but to address the root cause of dysfunction.
A skilled remedial massage therapist works to identify underlying biomechanical issues, helping to correct imbalances and restore natural movement patterns. Using a range of specialised techniques, they target affected muscles, tendons, and joints to promote repair and recovery.
Massage is performed directly on the skin using a lubricating medium, usually oil, to allow for deep penetration of soft tissues. Passive stretching techniques may also be incorporated to support joint mobility and muscular function. Remedial massage helps activate the body’s own healing processes—relieving pain, improving flexibility, and restoring overall well-being.

The human body has been designed to resist an infinite number of changes and attacks brought about by its environment. The secret of good health lies in successful adjustment to changing stresses on the body.
