Are you interested in attending a FREE Falls Prevention Program @ the PIT during TERM 2 (May & June 2019)

10am—12pm

Every Thursday for 7 weeks?

Stepping On Program @ the PIT

Please complete the Stepping On Registration Form ASAP so we can submit our group for consideration by the S/W Health Promotion Team.

I will be facilitating the program. I have seen nothing but wonderful independent empowering results for those that attend this program. I recommend it to any one over the age of 65yrs. The diversity of information is amazing. In a 2 hour session we usually have a guest speaker for 50mins, Morning Tea, 20mins practice of the 6 exercises and a good chin wag.

We do take 3 measurements at the start of the program that assess your current balance skills and confidence and then we do this again 7 weeks later to point out your improvement. Our speakers: Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist, Podiatrist, Dietician, Vision experts, Pharmacist & Pedestrian Safety. Fall prevention talks from their perspective are insightful and the access they can provide to other services from their networking have seen many lifestyle issues solved.

I need at least 15 in a group to provide this program for FREE
