Celebrating 2nd Degree Black Belt

Congratulations to Mr. Young, who successfully completed his 2nd Degree Black Belt examination last night.

Still throwing head kicks right to the final moments, he demonstrated the maturity and composure essential for stepping into this rank. His diversity, precision and intricate technical skill across all defensive areas were outstanding, followed by an excellent display of spirit that drove his mind and body to perform at their absolute best until the very end.

It is incredibly exciting to welcome another highly talented Taekwon-Do technician into the 2nd Degree Black Belt ranks. Thank you to all the Black belts who were there to support him and witness this tough examination.

When a parent completes a membership form and a club instructor accepts a student, it is an act of trust—sharing a part of our heart with someone who begins as a stranger. That trust can be strengthened or broken, but in this case, for 12 years, we have worked together as a true team. Together, we have helped guide a young boy into a fine young man, giving him the wings to become anything he chooses in life.

It is an honour and a privilege—one that every club instructor will tell you sincerely—that this shared journey with families is one of the greatest gifts of teaching. It is a profound sense of achievement that inspires us to continue leading, growing, and striving to be the best instructors we can be.
