Small snapshots in time...

There is something truly special about the Christmas cards we receive. I keep everyone and bring them out each year, as each card is a heartfelt gift — created by someone who has shared a little of their precious time. They become small snapshots in time, quiet reflections of the journey a person has most recently travelled. Today, I was gifted another beautiful sentiment, very special. 🙏🙏🙏Hi Master Gatt,I know my son has written you guys a card expressing his gratitude this year, but I also wanted to just send my own Christmas wishes to you and Master Donato and all the amazing PIT Crew! 2025 has been a real turning point for my son… somehow everything you guys have been teaching him over the past 6 years has finally clicked and he is clearly seeing and feeling all the benefits and ideals that you try to instil into people. In the past he wasn’t always a willing boy to pry himself from in front of the TV to go to training, but especially in the past few months not only is he ready to go before I even ask but he is asking to go to extra classes and involving himself voluntarily in things like the kata demonstration group…makes me so proud. He even has been saying lately even if he is tired or not feeling well or stressed about school all that goes away when he is at training and steps into the dojo! He has trusted the process, and he is now reaping the rewards of your teachings and his hard work. Watching his quiet confidence soar this year has been amazing to witness. He has made friends and isn’t so scared to talk to Blackbelts anymore but instead enjoys the challenges they set him.I want to say again, thank you for all you do to nurture my amazing boy. A lot of who he is comes from you all. Have an amazing Christmas ready for an even bigger 2026!!
