Wow — what a week!

Wow — what a week! And we still have the final 2026 classes coming online tomorrow.

A huge welcome to all our new members and their families joining the PIT Community. Every class, across every Centre, is buzzing with energy, enthusiasm and new friendships forming.

We were thrilled to welcome close to 60 homeschooled children who will be training with us during the day each week — what an incredible addition to our weekly rhythm.

Our kids’ classes are flourishing, with students excited to learn new skills, build strong friendships and decompress after a full day at school in a positive, empowering environment.

Our 6pm Family Martial Arts classes on Mondays and Wednesdays — along with our regional Centres — are proudly welcoming new white belts. This growth is exciting for our entire system and strengthens our community across all generations.

Our Boxing and Kickboxing crew are enjoying strong numbers, fantastic camaraderie and noticeable skill development as some begin preparing for the first competitions of the year. The standard is lifting — and so is the spirit.

Our 50+ Fitness community has loved returning for 2026, especially with the bonus of welcoming new members into the fold. The new Thursday sessions were a great success this week.

Across all our Tai Chi Centres we’ve seen new memberships — and I don’t know if it’s the coffee at the café, but Macarthur Gardens Tai Chi has absolutely exploded!

We’re also celebrating record numbers of Mat Ninjas (3–5 years) at both Warragamba and the PIT HQ. The life cycle of training is alive and thriving — from our littlest movers to our most experienced members.

Thanks to Grandmaster Nick Donato’s global connections, we are incredibly excited to welcome the first of two international guests to PIT HQ in March — Grandmaster Jeff Speakman.

GM Jeff Speakman is an American actor and highly respected martial artist in American Kenpo and Japanese Gōjū-ryū, holding black belts in both disciplines. He served as President of the International Kempo Federation from 2008–2018 and is widely known for starring in the 1991 action film The Perfect Weapon, which is celebrating its 35-year milestone. We are extremely fortunate to have access to such world-class talent.

This seminar opportunity is open to all members, family and friends. Tickets are available through the PIT Office. Those attending will add something truly special to their martial arts journey — a rare and valuable experience.

Let’s embrace an outstanding February as we settle into 2026. May your training become a reliable anchor in a balanced year of health, strength and happiness. The PIT Community is, at its heart, one big family — a place to belong, evolve, excel and truly thrive together.

May the Year of the horse be wonderful for you! Master Gatt
