What a year it has been! Our Longevity 50+ Club community has truly shone throughout 2025. We’ve celebrated growth, connection, resilience, and so many individual victories.
Our Tai Chi centre locations expanded by an incredible 50%, allowing even more members to experience the calm, balance, and wellness these sessions bring. The strengthening of our social network, allied health collaborations, and community connections has enriched lives in ways that are nothing short of inspiring.
Earlier in the year, our 5-week Wellness Program brought many together to explore simple, powerful habits that make everyday life easier, healthier, and more enjoyable. Seeing so many continue to use those strategies has been a joy.
Our Flexicore members and clients have made outstanding progress—gaining flexibility, fluidity, strength, mobility, and most importantly, confidence and ownership over their bodies. Watching them learn how to understand their body, honour its signals, and manage those occasional lived-experience aches has been incredibly rewarding. Meeting new participants, working alongside them, and witnessing their commitment has been one of the great highlights of the year.
Teaching a class that is half floor-based and half chair-based could easily be a challenge, yet we have turned it into something special. The adaptability, humour, patience, and determination members bring into the room make it flow beautifully—and that success belongs entirely to each of our client members.
Our Wednesday Strength for Life class deserves its own celebration. The gains in strength, cardiovascular fitness, balance, and confidence have been outstanding. Yes, the program design helps—but it is their determination, consistency, and willingness to try that make the magic happen. Congratulations to them all on an amazing year of progress.
I remain deeply passionate about helping our members get the most out of every day. Our 50+ classes are proudly diverse because everyone enjoys moving in their own way. We focus on strength, balance, mobility, and cardio fitness, working through the seven major muscle groups using breathwork, resistance bands, gym equipment, weights, and gentle rehabilitation movements that help the body relax, lengthen, and strengthen. Together, we support mental wellness and mental fitness—troubleshooting challenges, sharing wisdom, lifting each other up, and always progressing as a team. Our members insights, questions, and ongoing feedback are gifts I truly treasure.
Our final 50+ classes for the year will be on Friday, 19th December. We will look forward to all our client members smiling faces again in 2026 when we return in the first week of February for another exciting year of movement, growth, and community.
As we enter the Christmas season, I encourage everyone to take care of yourself. Keep your friendships strong, even when it feels like effort. Continue learning new things, especially the little ones that bring joy. Move your body every day—walk, swim, ride, stretch, breathe, dance, or simply choose activities that make you feel alive.
It’s also perfectly okay to shake up your routine and try something new. And please, don’t isolate yourself. A simple “hello” on your morning walk can brighten two lives at once. A small change of scenery can shift your entire mindset, and your mind and body will thank you for it.
Wishing you all a joyful, festive, and restorative Christmas season. Stay happy, healthy, and safe.
Cheers,
Ell and the PIT Crew
